  About Sales Associate:  Responsible for assisting customers, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.  Primary Activities 


  A Sales Associate in the Retail function is typically expected to perform the following activities as a part of their job.   •  Assisting Customers: Providing excellent customer service by helping customers find products, answering their questions, and offering recommendations

  •  Product Knowledge: Gaining in-depth knowledge about the products sold in the store, including features, benefits, and usage, to effectively assist customers and make recommendations
  •  Handling Customer Complaints: Addressing customer concerns and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner, finding appropriate solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
  •  Maintaining Inventory: Monitoring and tracking inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks, and notifying management of low stock or popular items that need to be reordered
  •  Promoting Sales & Promotions: Informing customers about ongoing sales, promotions, and discounts, and encouraging them to take advantage of these offers to increase sales
  •  Upselling & Cross Selling: Identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products to customers based on their needs and preferences, thereby increasing sales revenue
  •  Maintaining Sales Records: Accurately recording sales transactions, tracking customer purchases, and maintaining sales reports for management analysis and decision-making

 Key Performance Indicators 


  Sales Associates in the Retail function are often evaluated using the following KPI metrics.   •  Inventory Management: The ability of the sales associate to effectively manage and track inventory levels
